After graduating from Fashion Design at TAFE in 1981 Daniel Lightfoot won his first award at the Queensland Fashion Awards in 1985. During the following 7 years Daniel collected some 21 awards for his excellence in design and manufacture.

It was also during this time that Daniel Lightfoot diversified his operation of fashion design and manufacture to include corporate uniform design, manufacture, warehousing and distribution.

The success of Daniel's first major corporate uniform for SUNCORP was the catalyst upon which the successful 'daniel lighfoot' corporate label was built. Today, with Daniel Lightfoot as Managing Director of the JD PTY LTD Corporation, the company behind the successful label, he continues to offer the same high quality garment and excellence in service that he was offering the clients over 20 years ago.
